Foto klub Beograd
Serbia
We have been around for 85 years.
We are the oldest club in Serbia with several thousand members since its foundation until today.
On December 2, 1939, the Founding Assembly of the Photo Amateurs Club "Belgrade" (KFAB), a club that gathered the largest number of amateur photographers from the territory of Belgrade and was the only Serbian club in pre-war Yugoslavia, was held.
After the Second World War, a group of pre-war members of the club, supplemented by new photography enthusiasts, launched an initiative to renew the work of the Photo Amateurs Club.
At the end of 1947, the Association of Photo Amateurs Belgrade was founded, which soon grew into the Association of Photo and Cinema Amateurs »Belgrade«. In 1950, cinema amateurs separated, so the Club continued its work under a new name - Photo Club "Belgrade", which it still bears today.
Already in 1955, the Club had 3,077 regular members.
In the meantime, several thousand participants attended the courses at the Club.
Today the club has 40 members.
